A Chat At The Gokhale Institute with Sourya Banerjee, Samrudha Surana (and yours truly)

The Equilibria team is hosting a discussion session Under The Banyan Tree (UTBT), at the Gokhale Institute, this coming Thursday, the 18th of January, 2024. The discussion will be from 5.30 to 6.30. Two very good friends are organizing this talk, Sourya Banerjee and Samrudha Surana. This is Sourya’s LinkedIn profile, this is Samrudha’s

What is the discussion about? It is delightfully open-ended, the theme being discussions on philosophy, politics and economics. I fully expect the discussion to range from truly obscure stuff, such as, say, the use of knowledge in society, to truly critical stuff. Such as, say, the use of vegetables in biryani. But the point is that all questions are fine, and all three of us look forward to dealing with them, and in some cases even answering them.

My job on Thursday is to look somewhat intelligent and nod pensively when asked a question. If you’d like to see me do that for an hour, do drop in.

But even if you happen to be the kind of philistine who thinks that watching a balding middle aged man nod pensively for an hour isn’t your cup of tea, do still drop by. Samrudha and Sourya alone will more than make it worth your while with their brilliance, plus there are few campuses more beautiful than the Gokhale Institute’s, particularly in the evenings. This event is being organized by team Equilibria, please reach out to them via their LinkedIn page if you have any questions.

I hope I get to meet some of you on Thursday, see you there!
